You decide!

Global Informative News Truth
As many of you may or may not know, I quit GIN in May. So imagine my surprise when I was delivered the latest copy of the GIN Report this morning!
They say things happen for a reason, and browsing through the repetitive pages of how to build your GIN business, I was reminded that I meant to write a short post about Hot Leads.
On page 17 of this latest issue, there’s Blaine Athorn, hands open, with the title “How To Convert Hot Leads Into Members”.
I couldn’t help but wonder just why this article gets printed in every issue when a) you CAN’T buy hot leads anymore. Indeed, they haven’t been available since the back end of 2011. And b) More than 90% of those who bought and paid for lists of Hot Leads, have yet to receive them! I’ll even add a point c). C) Some of those hot leads have never bought the YWIYC cd set and are surprised when they receive a call from someone spouting out the insanely dull scripts at them, in the vain hope of converting them to members. No, many of those on the hot lead lists are the ‘victim’ of targeted marketing from when they bought KT’s book(s) from those late night informercials, before he was banned from making them.
Ironically, a previous member informed me she had one of the biggest laughs of her life recently, when she received a phone-call from a rather nice sounding lady. After several minutes, she realised the lady was using one of the scripts and asked her how she had gotten her name and number. The conversation went something like this:
Ring, ring. Ring, ring.
Ex-GIN Member: Hello?
Nice lady caller: Hello, is this xxxxxx?
Ex-GIN Member: Yes, it is.
Nice lady caller: Hello xxxxxx, my name’s xxxxxx, Kevin Trudeau asked me to call you.
Ex-GIN Member: What? Why?
Nice lady caller: Well, Kevin Trudeau asked me to call you personally (which we all now know is not true - Ed) and follow up with you. Have you listened to the CD’s yet?
Ex-GIN Member: Sorry, how did you get my name and number?
Nice lady caller: You’re on my hot lead list.
Ex-GIN Member: Hahahahaha!!
To which follows a long explanation of being a previous member, etc. In the end the Nice lady caller was left perplexed and unsure of what to do, but fully in the realisation that she had paid good money for something she thought was going to help build her business, but was a total sham.
Other callers have been met with “I never bought the CD’s, I bought a book!” to “I asked them not to give my information out!” and the ever so sequential “That was two years ago and you @’&%`$ are still charging my credit card for something I didn’t want or ask for! `%’& you!”
So, my question is why is GIN still promoting the How to convert Hot Leads, program? It serves no purpose and Hot Leads are basically a dead deal!
Save your money and don’t waste it traveling to one of these inane and worthless seminars.
And if you bought Hot Leads and never received anything yet, then please, for the love of all that is decent, demand your money back!
Just be careful GIN doesn’t dump you over it as they are going to do with anyone who asks for a refund on their Lazy Man orders! That’s a whole different post though.
